- Self Paced Educational Programs now available on JKO for D-SAACP credit. Safe Helpline is pleased to announce the recent migration of self-paced educational program modules from the Safe Helpline Learning Management System to Joint Knowledge Online (JKO). The migration allows easy access for stakeholders that require certificates for D-SAACP credit. Access the self-paced educational programs for D-SAACP credit here.
- Updated Public Affairs Toolkit available on shop.safehelpline.org. Leveraging Safe Helpline can help support survivors in the DoD community and raise awareness of the resources available for survivors, friends and family members, and anyone in the DoD community affected by sexual assault. The purpose of this toolkit is to provide easy ways to share Safe Helpline with local communities through public affairs work. The toolkit includes sample social media text for public affairs team to communicate about the Safe Helpline 10 Year Report. - Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month Highlights
- A list of VA and Civilian legal resources is now available within the Responder search results. Find more information here and in the results of any search conducted at SafeHelpline.org/responders-search. The addition of this information to the Safe Helpline search results supports requirements outlined in sec 549c of the Fiscal Year 2023 National Defense Authorization Act.
Safe Helpline was honored to support Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month (SAAPM) initiatives at bases and installations around the world. Safe Helpline successfully supported ten 101 and 102 briefings throughout Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month attended by over 300 Sexual Assault Response Coordinators and Sexual Assault Prevention and Response (SAPR) Victim Advocates (VAs). In addition, during the month of April, Safe Helpline distributed over 72,000 materials to the field including coffee sleeves, info cards, magnets, and banners.
